Security clearance for Members’ staff
The Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO) carries out Members’ Staff
Verification
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)

pre-employment checks on staff of Members from both x3468/4072
Houses and audits House contractors to ensure they carry msvo@

The check involves verifying an individual’s identity,
nationality and immigration status and employment/
educational history over the past three years.
